The IBP Global SBU & Regional Director drives IBP full cycle with each step Owner (MBR, PMR, DR, SR) and directly co-lead (with Finance) Integrated Reconciliation, to pursue effectiveness and efficiency via an integrated way of working for improved service, reduced inventory, profit leakage and the overall cost to serve. This position sits in downtown Pittsburgh at our General Office Monday through Thursday with Friday as a remote day. The IBP Global SBU & Regional Lead reports to the Director, Integrated Business Planning & Demand, Industrial Segment.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the global IBP process for the assigned Business Unit, ensuring alignment between the full cycle (management business review, product management, demand, supply, integrated reconciliation and financial planning)
- Act as a key business partner to the SBU leadership, supporting decision-making through scenario modeling, risk analysis, and demand / capacity planning.
- Drive IBP cycle responsiveness, and transparency & ensure integration of product lifecycle planning, commercial inputs, and financial reconciliation into a single business plan.
- Own governance and execution of the IBP cycle, including preparation of integrated reconciliations and executive reviews; grant that action plans are disciplined followed and delivers vs plans.
- Collaborate with IT, finance, and operational excellence teams to ensure consistent data models, standardized metrics, and digital enablers.
Regional Cross-BU Responsibilities (Industrial Segment):
- Act as regional IBP lead across multiple Business Units within the industrial segment to enable harmonized processes and consolidated demand and planning views.
- Drive cross-BU alignment and support deployment and standardization of IBP processes, tools and best practices implementation at regional level, in collaboration with the other IBP Global SBU leads and IBP PMO & Continuous Improvement lead.
- Collaborate with Regional SC organization to identify and lead strategic initiatives for inventory optimization, service level improvements, and cost efficiency across the segment.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business, Supply Chain, or Finance; Master’s or MBA preferred.
- 10+ years of relevant experience in supply chain, operations, or strategic planning, including experience in both global and regional roles.
- Proven leadership in IBP or S&OP in complex, matrixed, multinational environments.
- Strong understanding of the industrial/manufacturing sector, including make-to-order and/or configure-to-order environments.
- Experience managing cross-functional and cross-BU planning processes.
- Proficiency in advanced planning systems (e.g., SAP IBP, Kinaxis, Anaplan) and data analytics.
