Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide support and maintenance for IBM Cognos applications, including troubleshooting issues and resolving report errors.
- Develop and enhance reports using IBM Cognos Report Studio, creating high-quality and insightful reports for business users.
- Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather requirements, translate them into report designs, and perform data validation.
- Optimize and streamline SQL queries to improve performance within IBM Cognos reports.
- Manage ETL processes to ensure consistent, accurate, and timely data extraction, transformation, and loading.
- Participate in code reviews and quality assurance processes for report and ETL enhancements.
- Document technical specifications, solutions, and support activities.
Total Experience Expected: 04-06 years
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- 4-6 years of experience with IBM Cognos, particularly with Report Studio
- Expertise in and Framework manager modeling
- Strong SQL skills, with experience in query optimization and data analysis.
- Knowledge of ETL processes and tools, with a focus on data integration for reporting.
- Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and best practices in BI and reporting.
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
