About the job
For the International Baccalaureate, IB educators are valuable and essential contributors who work with IB staff to meet the needs of interested, candidate and authorized schools and support the enduring IB mission. This position supports educators onsite and remotely and collaborates closely with internal stakeholders to help the IB Educator Network operate efficiently. The role contributes to the recruitment, training and ongoing support of qualified IB Educators who deliver services to schools across all four IB programmes globally, while helping protect the integrity of the IB through effective data management and compliance with relevant regulations and laws.
Responsibilities- Manage IB Educator records in line with applicable legal and financial regulations, IB policies and data accuracy standards.
- Respond to IB Educator and applicant queries in line with organizational service expectations.
- Support the recruitment of qualified IB Educators so services to schools can be delivered across all four IB programmes.
- Complete application, certification and allocation activities to agreed standards and timelines.
- Review IB Educator applications and make appointment decisions based on relevant qualifications, experience and capabilities.
- Provide accurate data and information to colleagues to support recruitment, planning, projects and continuous improvement.
- Support staffing of events within agreed service levels and share clear information with IB Educators and relevant teams.
- Track data issues, help identify root causes and work with IT colleagues to resolve basic issues.
- Support applicants and IB Educators through certification, maintaining accurate records and escalating recurring issues.
- Identify opportunities to improve the IB Educator experience and work with colleagues to implement practical solutions
- IT Literate and the aptitude to learn new systems and software.
- Good communication skills with a strong command of the English language.
- Excellent attention to detail and a consistent focus on accuracy.
- Ability to plan, prioritise and manage your own workload effectively.
- Flexibility and adaptability when working in a small team environment.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- A working knowledge of the IB and its programmes is desirable.
- The ability to work in French and/or Spanish is desirable.
