Key responsibilities:   

  • Support the origination and execution of M&A, capital markets and financing transactions across the Southeast Asia region

  • Assist in the preparation of marketing materials, pitch books, client presentations and advisory materials

  • Support transaction execution, including financial modelling, valuation analyses and preparation of transaction materials. This will involve coordinating execution workstreams with internal and external stakeholders across multiple jurisdictions

  • Manage day-to-day client requests and support senior bankers in delivering client solutions and executing transaction mandates

Skills and experience:

  • 1-3 years of relevant experience in investment banking, corporate finance or private equity

  • Demonstrated experience in supporting origination and execution of M&A, capital markets and financing transactions

  • Strong financial modelling, valuation and analytical skills

  • Highly motivated and self-driven with ability to multi-task, work independently and perform under tight deadlines

  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple workstreams in a fast-paced environment

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients and senior stakeholders

  • Proven ability to leverage AI tools to enhance productivity, optimise workflows to solve business problems, while applying critical judgment to ensure responsible and ethical use of data and AI outputs.
