What You'll Be DoingWe are seeking a Senior Associate / Junior Vice President to join our Investment Banking team in New York with a focus on the Clean Energy & Power sector. This role sits at the keystone of the deal team – serving as project manager on live transactions while taking on increasing execution and client-facing responsibility, and managing and mentoring Analysts. The role is ideal for a strategic thinker with a strong background in complex financial transactions who is keen to work hard in a fast-paced environment across multiple projects at one time. Experience running sell-side M&A transactions is a must, as is direct transaction experience in the Clean Energy & Power sector. What We're Looking For- Play a critical role as project manager on deal teams, managing the process from origination to close
- Lead and support execution of M&A, recapitalizations, and capital raises (debt, public, and private equity) transactions
- Develop and oversee integrated financial models, valuation analyses, and client presentation materials
- Prepare valuations and offering memorandums for M&A and private placement processes, and participate in due diligence and drafting sessions for public and private offerings
- Serve as a trusted point of contact for clients, supporting relationship management and the delivery of financial solutions
- Mentor and develop Analysts and junior staff, targeting areas for their development and fostering a collaborative, high-performance culture
- Contribute to business development efforts by identifying and pursuing new client opportunities
- Build sector expertise in Clean Energy & Power and represent the firm at industry events and client meetings
- Work on multiple projects and transactions at any given time
