Job Description:Details of the Division and Team:

The Institutional Client Group (ICG) is a global sales team covering various institutional clients including Hedge Funds, Insurance companies, Asset Managers, Banks, Central Banks, Sovereign Wealth Funds and Private Banks. In APAC, we have salespeople located across the regional hubs in Singapore, Hong Kong, Tokyo, Sydney as well as in several countries across Asia

Your key responsibilities:

  • Business driver & coverage lead to grow our outbound FX & FX as a service business with Asian institutional clients in APAC (primarily Banks, Asset Managers and Asset Owners). The hire would cover clients either directly / in partnership with sales leads.

  • Leverage knowledge of Deutsche Bank’s products & platform to provide clients with bespoke solutions to meet their needs in order to gain wallet share and relevance.

  • Alpha, originator skill set to mine and monetize new opportunities

Your skills and experience:

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Minimum 8 years’ experience working in a similar role with track record of building a business & developing and fostering FX business/relationships

  • Existing relationships with Asian Institutional clients primarily Banks, Asset Managers and Asset Owners

  • Good local market knowledge + understanding of macroeconomic developments

  • Entrepreneurial skills & alpha / originator skillset

  • Comfortable in a dynamic and fast paced environment + demonstrating the ability to navigate complex organizations

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Ability to interact with and drive regional/global teams
