• Join our talent team as a SRE/Devops technical consultant, where you will drive automation, CI/CD implementation, and cloud infrastructure management.
• You will also support other operations teams in defining and using standards and practices.
• You will develop, manage, and improve automation and infrastructure as code for cloud infrastructure services and orchestration, and maintain versions.
• You will help develop and implement Devops practices to improve efficiency and collaboration among teams. You will support the integration and adaptation of AI solutions for use in teams to promote innovative approaches and automation opportunities.
• You will contribute to the further development of our service with the involvement of relevant stakeholders.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• We are looking for a skilled SRE/Devops engineer to join our team in Coimbatore. In this role, you will play a crucial part in enhancing our operational capabilities and driving our digital transformation initiatives.
• Your responsibilities will include:
• Collaborating with SRE and Operations teams to define and implement standards and practices for Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and GitOps.
• Designing, implementing, and maintaining IaC workflows, while developing templates to share best practices across teams.
• Developing and managing automation solutions for infrastructure and orchestration, ensuring versioned configurations are maintained.
• Contributing to the development and utilization of IaC libraries on platforms like GitHub.
• Adhering to best practices for secure configurations, monitoring security measures, and defining optimization strategies.
• Assisting in troubleshooting scalable architectures and contributing to continuous development efforts.
• Supporting the development and implementation of Devops / SRE practices to enhance team efficiency and collaboration.
• Facilitating the integration of AI solutions to foster innovation and automation within teams and our business operations.
• Engaging with relevant stakeholders to contribute to the ongoing development of our services.

Required skills:

• Technical Proficiency: Strong understanding of cloud architecture and services, with hands-on experience in deploying and managing applications in cloud environments.
• Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to analyze complex technical issues and provide effective solutions in a timely manner.
• Team Collaboration: Experience working in cross-functional teams and collaborating with stakeholders to achieve common goals.
• Adaptability: Willingness to learn new technologies and adapt to changing project requirements and priorities.
• Proven Track Record: You can demonstrate a proven track record of successfully implementing automation and optimization projects.

Technical knowledge:

• In-depth knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with tools such as Terraform.
• Experience with GitOps practices and tools such as ArgoCD.
• Familiar with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and their services.
• Knowledge of containerization and orchestration (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience with observability solutions (e.g., Newrelic, Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog)
• Basic knowledge of programming languages such as Python, Go or Bash for automation scripts.
• Understanding of security best practices in the cloud and software development.
• Basic knowledge of AI technologies to support their integration into existing systems.
