The Team

We are the Hitachi Digital Global Information Security team, passionate advocates of Information Security. Our primary responsibility is safeguarding the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of enterprise data, systems, and information. We ensure that corporate systems are secure and that the products we deliver to customers are free of security flaws and vulnerabilities. We are seeking an IAM Specialist, whose mission is to ensure that the right people get access to the right resources at the right time, in a secure manner. We constantly seek new and better ways of doing things, and we need highly motivated individuals who want to be part of a world-class information security program.
 

The Role

• Developing custom integrations and automation across Okta Workforce Identity Cloud, Okta Identity Governance, and Auth0 using Node.js, JavaScript, Python, and PowerShell.

• Development and maintenance of Terraform configurations and CI/CD pipelines for IAM infrastructure as code.

• Creating, reviewing, and maintaining OAuth and OIDC integrations across both Okta and Auth0.

• Completing SAML integrations with custom rule and attribute statements.

• Developing Okta Workflows to drive critical business processes, provisioning, and registration flows.

• Developing custom rules and actions within Auth0 to interact with external platforms.

• Writing custom Node.js functions and Express applications to enhance IAM platform capabilities.

• Supporting Identity Governance processes including access certifications, entitlement management, and lifecycle automation.

• Building PowerShell and Python scripts to automate reporting, reconciliation, and operational tasks.

• Management of application access policies and authorization server policies across environments.

• Developing integrations with critical platforms such as Workday, Active Directory, Azure, and Salesforce.

• Supporting Org2Org federations with other companies in the Hitachi Group.

• Participating in code reviews for automation and tenant management.

What You’ll Bring

• Strong understanding of authentication mechanisms and protocols including OIDC/OAuth and SAML, and key related security concepts such as MFA, and how these are used with Okta, Auth0, and other IdPs, and the ability to troubleshoot issues in this realm.

• Strong experience integrating applications with both Okta and Auth0 for SSO, provisioning, and governance.

• Hands-on development proficiency in Node.js, JavaScript, Python, and PowerShell. Experience building production-grade automation and integrations is required.

• Comfort and skill with Terraform, CI/CD tooling, and Infrastructure as Code best practices.

• Knowledge of Okta Identity Governance including access certifications, entitlement management, RBAC, and ABAC concepts.

• Familiarity with Okta’s and Auth0’s public-facing API collections and development SDKs.

• Hands-on experience within large enterprise-scale IAM environments, including experience with workflows and scripting with public-facing APIs.

• Knowledge of advanced Okta SKUs such as Okta Workflows, Okta Identity Governance, and the Okta Access Gateway. Okta certifications are a plus.

• Understanding and knowledge of modern cybersecurity threats and how a successful IAM program can assist an enterprise in mitigating those threats.

• Great interpersonal skills: good written & oral communication in English, ability & willingness to work within an international team, collaborative & team-oriented approach, being self-driven with an ability to quickly adapt to new technologies and variables in a dynamic and fast moving, large scale project with tight deadlines, multiple priorities and under defined budget, high attention to details and quality.
