IAM Engineer

Responsibilities

• Assist in the implementation and management of IAM solutions, including Okta and Microsoft Entra ID.
• Participate in the full IAM lifecycle, including user provisioning, de-provisioning, role management, and access reviews.
• Contribute to the automation of IAM processes using scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Python, Bash).
• Troubleshoot and resolve IAM-related issues, providing timely and effective support to users.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate IAM solutions with various applications and systems.
• Document IAM processes, configurations, and procedures.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest IAM trends, technologies, and best practices.
• Assist in security audits and compliance efforts related to IAM.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of security policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
• 2-3 years of relevant experience in IAM or related IT security roles.
• Strong understanding of IAM concepts and the IAM lifecycle.
• Experience working in a cloud-native environment (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Hands-on experience with IAM solutions such as Okta and Microsoft Entra ID is highly preferred.
• Proficiency in scripting languages for automation (e.g., PowerShell, Python, Bash).
• Familiarity with security and cloud concepts.
• Strong problem-solving and logical thinking skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent English communication skills.
• A strong desire to learn and adapt to new technologies.

Preferred Requirements

• Security or cloud professional certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+, Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP), AWS Certified Security - Specialty, Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate).
• Experience with API integration with IAM solutions.
• Experience with IGA (Identity Governance & Administration) solutions is preferred.
