IAM Cloud Identity Analyst

Responsibilities:

• Assist in managing and maintaining cloud identity and access management (IAM) systems in AWS and Azure.

• Understand and solve challenges related to various types of identities (human and non-human) within cloud environments.

• Implement and adhere to cloud security best practices to ensure secure identity management.

• Demonstrate consistent progress in understanding and applying cloud IAM principles.

• Utilize automation tools and scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell) to enhance efficiency in identity management processes.

• Support cloud access governance initiatives, ensuring appropriate access levels are maintained.

• Assist in the remediation of excessive privileges and ensure compliance with organizational policies.

• Collaborate with senior team members to design and implement IAM solutions that support business objectives.

• Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in cloud identity management.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• 1-2 years of experience in cloud identity management or a related domain.

• Basic understanding of IAM principles and cloud security practices.

• Familiarity with AWS and Azure IAM services.

• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, or similar.

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with IAM tools and cloud security frameworks.

• Knowledge of regulatory requirements related to cloud identity management.

• Certification in cloud platforms (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals).

Target base salary range is 60k-80k, which is based on various factors including skills, work experience, and location. In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for a competitive additional compensation program that is based on individual and company performance.
