JOB DESCRIPTION:
Audubon is currently seeking an I&E Manager to join our team in the Houston, TX office. The I&E Manager will be part of a project team working at the home office and job site locations. The I&E Manager will monitor each project from start to finish, ensuring that work is completed safely and on schedule, in accordance with project drawings and specifications..
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Checking job for completeness per scope of work and initiate punch lists of items not complete near the end of the job.
- Supporting project loop checks, testing, PSSR, and pre-commissioning.
- Working in all phases of capital projects: planning, design, procurement, construction and start-up
- Applying design guidelines provided by Engineers and Sr. Designers to ensure detailed drawings and deliverables are being performed properly.
- Develop I&E project scope of work to obtain contractor pricing.
- Prepare contractor bid evaluations.
- Monitor and review contractor scope change.
- Modifying existing or develop new specifications to meet requirements of project scopes.
- Coordinating with other disciplines throughout design, construction and startup.
- Must be able to effectively interface with clients and engineers/designers from multiple locations.
- Review model designs and engineering details for constructability.
- Manage, mentor and assign work to I&E Field coordinators
- Interface with clients and engineers on E&I project execution scope.
- Track and report progress, schedule and manhour status to management
- Other duties as assigned.
EXPERIENCE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
- 10 years’ experience in an I&E Coordinator capacity.
- Experience with EPC
- Experience supervising field coordinators or craft personnel.
- Working knowledge of NEC, NFPA 70E and hazardous area classification (Class/Division, Zone).
- Familiarity with field instrumentation (transmitters, control valves, analyzers) and control systems (DCS/PLC/SIS).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
Skills Required
- 10 years of experience in an I&E Coordinator capacity
- Experience with EPC projects
- Experience supervising field coordinators or craft personnel
- Working knowledge of NEC
- Working knowledge of NFPA 70E
- Working knowledge of hazardous-area classification, including Class/Division and Zone
