All about the role:
We are looking for a laboratory engineer for the Hydraulic Laboratory, to take part of the development of new dishwasher products at global level for the PL Care Organization.
We need someone that ensure Hydraulics/Energetical structures performances verifications in compliance with product specifications. Contribute the PL Care R&D team for the development of new Hydraulics/Energetical structures in Dish Care (DW) verifying and ensuring the functionality of these modules in accordance with projects requirements, internal test procedure and international standard and in cooperation with Electrolux departments (e.g. Product Architecture, Regional Product Developments, Electric & Electronics, etc.)
Preferably, this person should have a basic knowledge of laboratory equipment, data acquisitions systems, experimental processes, results evaluation and principles of hydraulics.
What you'll do:
Execution of testing on dish hydraulics modules (spray arms, filters, sumps, detergent dispensers, hydraulic connections, draining systems, pump’s characteristics) according to test procedures.
Preparation and release of relevant test report in accordance with template and Test Manuals.
Guarantee laboratory test capability.
Develop test procedures and methodology to improve quality and speed up projects testing.
Strong integration with Functional team
Support statistical approach.
Generate improvement and innovation proposals.
Support alignment on test methodologies across the different regions.
To use properly laboratory equipment, data acquisitions system, testing procedures and evaluations of results.
Support collaboration with Universities, Test Institutes, Institution, Relevant Partners.
Qualifications:
Industrial (Mechanical / Thermodynamic / Energetic / Chemical) Engineer University degree and/or similar experience (1-3 years);
Basic knowledge of fluid dynamics, Bernoulli’s equation, head losses, and pumps (centrifugal and positive-displacement pumps, characteristic curves, air ingestion, cavitation effects, NPSH)
Basic knowledge of the operation of fluid‑dynamic measuring instruments: manometers, pressure transducers, temperature transducers (NTC, PTC, thermocouples), flow meters and flow switches.
Knowledge of laboratory equipment, data acquisitions system, testing procedures and evaluations of results;
Knowledge of statistical methods and tools;
Able to work in a matrix organization, building strong and valid relationships with all the functions in the organization;
Open-minded, team oriented with good communications skills.
Creative, proactive and with a result driven approach.
Where you'll be:
You will be based at Electrolux office in Zarow (Poland) within the development team, along with different colleagues from different R&D labs and development teams.
