General Description:
The Human Resources Systems Data Quality Analyst is responsible for ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of data across HR systems. Serving as an independent quality control resource within the HR Systems team, this role leads data audits, validation processes, and quality assurance activities to support reliable reporting, effective system utilization, and strong data governance.
The position partners with HR Systems and functional HR teams to identify data discrepancies, resolve root causes, and promote consistent data standards across the HR technology landscape.
Key Responsibilities and Essential Job Functions:
- Executes audit routines, validations, and reports findings within the data quality program framework, across HR systems.
- Conduct structured audits, root cause analyses, and maintain audit logs across key HR functions.
- Monitor transactions and data entry activities to identify discrepancies, anomalies, or control gaps.
- Establish a validation process and testing procedure to ensure expected functionality and data outcomes in alignment with the data quality program.
- Partner with HR Systems team members to test functional-area data processes while maintaining independent validation of outcomes.
- Validate accuracy and integrity of reports, dashboards, and data outputs across HR systems.
- Identify discrepancies impacting operational, executive, or regulatory reporting.
- Collaborate with HR functional teams to resolve data and system issues, providing recommendations leading to better data outcomes.
- Serve as a central coordination point for data quality concerns and educate users on data standards, system usage, and quality expectations.
- Develop and maintain process documentation, audit procedures, and data quality standards.
- Expected to maintain a regular and predictable work schedule and full attention to and engagement in work activities on behalf of the firm during business hours unless otherwise approved or required by applicable law.
- Special projects and duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications & Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 4+ years of experience in HR information systems management or a related field.
- Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical audiences, including HR leadership, IT, vendors, and business stakeholders, regarding technical and analytical information.
- Working knowledge of data analysis, interpretation, and visualization.
- Strong organizational, project coordination, and cross-functional collaboration abilities.
- Ability to handle highly sensitive data with confidentiality and integrity.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time.
- Moderate or advanced keyboard usage.
