Town & Country Federal Credit Union is seeking a Human Resources Specialist to join our Human Resources team. This position offers the opportunity to develop expertise across a wide range of HR functions, including recruiting, onboarding, benefits administration, employee relations, engagement, compliance, and payroll support. What You’ll Do
As a Human Resources Specialist, you will:
- Recruit and interview candidates for open positions and support the hiring process from requisition to onboarding.
- Coordinate new hire onboarding, orientation, benefits education, and HR system training.
- Assist with employee benefit programs, medical leave administration, and 401(k) activities.
- Serve as a resource for employees regarding HR policies, benefits, and leave-related questions.
- Support employee engagement initiatives, recognition programs, wellness activities, and employee events.
- Assist with employee relations matters, investigations, corrective actions, separations, and offboarding activities.
- Maintain accurate and confidential HR records, files, databases, and reports.
- Support internal and external audits and ensure timely response to information requests.
- Maintain working knowledge of payroll processes and provide payroll coverage as needed.
- Process employment verifications and other employee information requests.
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor's degree, or achievement of formal certifications recognized in the industry.
- Three to five years of related Human Resources experience.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines.
- Proficiency with HR systems, Microsoft Office applications, and reporting tools.
- A commitment to providing exceptional service to employees and managers.
Compensation
Salary Range $72,000 - $75,000 annually, depending on qualifications and experience.
