Job Description

**Human Resources Specialist - Recruiting Responsibilities:**

Responsible for managing a full cycle recruiting process. Actively source, assess, recommend and hire prospective candidates for assigned positions within the corporate and property work groups.

  • Partner with hiring managers to determine staffing needs, screen resumes, conduct interviews, and make hiring recommendations for both exempt and nonexempt positions
  • Execute sourcing strategy (internal and external) to build candidate pipelines and support college recruiting initiatives
  • Manage the applicant tracking system (ATS), including candidate activity tracking, internal transfer coordination, and offer letter preparation
  • Provide information and interpretation of HR policies, procedures, and employment laws to management and team members
  • Collect, analyze, and prepare reports regarding employment-related matters and labor compliance
  • Conduct team member orientation and onboarding to ensure a positive new hire experience
  • Coordinate team member engagement activities, recognition programs, and health and benefits events
  • Maintain confidentiality and provide high-level internal customer service to support team member HR inquiries
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external clients to achieve staffing goals
  •  Assists team members with troubleshooting minor technology or system issues 
    specific to the shared services systems, and escalates unresolved issues within 
    established timelines.
  •  Performs general administrative office duties, including but not limited to: 
    scheduling meetings, creating agendas, taking minutes, and creating forms and 
    other documents.
  •  Performs other job related duties as requested.

Qualifications

**Human Resources Specialist - Recruiting Qualifications:**

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Two (2) years of human resources experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of HR concepts, policies, procedures, and employment law compliance.
  • Strong proficiency in MS Office applications and applicant tracking systems.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented with strong customer service orientation.
  • Ability to work varied hours, including some evenings and weekends.
  •  Must be able to obtain/maintain any necessary certifications and/or licenses as 
    required by local gaming regulations.
