Coordinates hiring processes, maintains accurate confidential records, supports employment legislation compliance, handles training and benefits queries, and assists with disciplinary, grievance, absence, performance, and flexible-working matters.

To provide a crucial role in executing day-to-day HR operations, including talent acquisition, providing support and assistance to employees, managing employee records, and providing learning and development (L&D) needs across the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the recruitment and selection process, liaising with managers in respect to shortlisting, coordinating and attending interviews, and liaising with applicants ensuring they receive timely and professional responses
- Ensure HR practices are applied consistently and in line with employment legislation and company policy
- Create, maintain and update payroll records on TTPAPA accurately and in a timely manner prior to monthly cut-off date
- Provide administrative and operational support on employee relations matters, including disciplinary, grievance, absence management, performance and flexible working cases, ensuring accurate documentation and records are maintained
- Obtain a comprehensive understanding of HR systems and the ability to input, manipulate, process and update data when required, and work to enhance systems where appropriate
- Be the first point of contact for training and qualification queries
- Obtain a good working knowledge of the benefits offered and respond to employee benefit queries including those relating to eligibility, enrolment processes and benefit provision.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- At least two years' experience within a generalist HR or Learning and Development role
- CIPD Level 3 or equivalent qualification is desirable
- Ability to grasp internal processes and systems quickly
- An awareness of employment legislation across the Channel Islands and Isle of Man
- Clear and effective communication skills
- Positive, can-do attitude
- Ability to work to tight deadlines to ensure the effective delivery of service
- A flexible approach to work
- Ability to engage with different skill sets
