We are a multinational organization with operations around the world seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to support three manufacturing businesses located in the Murcia region of Spain. This position is responsible for aligning local human resources strategies with business objectives while ensuring compliance with employment legislation and company policies.

Operating within a manufacturing environment, the Human Resources Manager will maintain a dual reporting relationship to regional operations leadership and the global HR organization. The successful candidate will partner closely with plant management and corporate leadership to drive workforce effectiveness, employee engagement, talent development, organizational performance, and operational success across multiple sites.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary HR business partner to leadership teams across three manufacturing operations, providing strategic and operational HR support.
  • Collaborate with operations leadership and global HR to develop and execute workforce strategies that support business objectives and organizational growth.
  • Lead workforce planning, onboarding, and employee integration activities for salaried and hourly employees.
  • Manage employee relations matters, including performance management, investigations, disciplinary actions, conflict resolution, and employee engagement initiatives.
  • Develop and implement programs that enhance employee engagement, satisfaction, retention, and workplace well-being.
  • Coordinate with external payroll providers to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing.
  • Design, implement, and monitor annual training and development plans to support workforce capability and business needs.
  • Ensure compliance with Spanish labor laws, employment regulations, company policies, collective bargaining agreements, and HR best practices.
  • Maintain accurate employee records, organizational charts, HR documentation, and reporting systems.
  • Analyze HR metrics and workforce data to evaluate organizational effectiveness and support data-driven decision making.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives across HR processes, systems, and programs.
  • Leverage technology, automation, and AI tools to improve HR efficiency, reporting, workforce planning, employee experience, and administrative effectiveness.
  • Perform additional HR-related duties and projects as required to support business operations.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field required
  • Minimum of 15 years of progressive Human Resources experience, including at least 8 years in a leadership or management role.
  • Experience supporting manufacturing, industrial, logistics, or other operational environments.
  • Strong knowledge of Spanish labor law, employment regulations, HR policies, and best practices.
  • Demonstrated experience developing and implementing HR strategies, recruitment programs, onboarding and offboarding processes.
  • Experience managing employee relations, performance management programs, and talent development initiatives.
  • Hands-on experience with compensation planning, benefits administration, payroll coordination, and HR budgeting.
  • Experience implementing initiatives that improve employee engagement, workplace culture, and employee well-being.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage employee records, organizational structures, HR systems, and compliance documentation.
  • Proven ability to partner effectively with business leaders, employees, external vendors, and global stakeholders.
  • Fluency in English and Spanish required.

Skills Required
