1. Provides coaching and development for their HR team: Advises and guides the regional HR Business Partners team in their activities and decisions. Ensures that each member receives continuous training regarding HR techniques and strategies to be applied at the operational level. Supports the HR Business Partner team in the deployment of national human resources programs to ensure consistency. Ensures knowledge transfer. Encourages the sharing of information, knowledge, and experience within the team.
2. Supports managers at all levels of the organization within the business unit: Collaborates closely with members of the management team to ensure that decisions, programs, and processes are aligned with the company's culture and values. Acts as a change agent by influencing and guiding leadership teams to reflect, evolve, transform, innovate, and manage talent. Advises and challenges managers across different business units and regions regarding their operational and management decisions. Makes recommendations on human resources-related topics (compensation and benefits programs, employee discipline and performance, promotions, organization, laws, and regulations regarding employee relations) with the goal of ensuring consistent and fair treatment for all employees. Works closely with managers to ensure that necessary programs, communication tools, and training plans are implemented to continually foster the development of their respective team members.
3. Responsibility for regional HR business partnership: Helps HR Business Partners establish a strategic business partnership with various regional directors and guides regional business partners in establishing a positive working climate with various unionized or non-unionized groups. Accompanies regional HR Business Partners in making human resources recommendations to their respective business units. Ensures consistency of human resources services at the national level for various topics such as: talent management, compensation practices, labor relations, the application of administrative and disciplinary measures for employees, necessary action plans for employee performance monitoring, etc.
4. Advises employees and ensures compliance with policies and procedures: Advises employees regarding human resources policies and procedures, promotions, performance, and compensation and benefits programs. Guides and supports employees in their career projects and decisions. Ensures that the different units adopt appropriate procedures relative to all human resources activities.
5. Responsible for specific projects: Develops, analyzes, and provides recommendations for and participates in various human resources projects assigned to them.
6. Safety / Quality: Participates in the promotion of ALC's safety and quality objectives. Works with their team and with multi-functional teams to continuously improve working methods and implement adequate corrective and preventive measures.

Training: Regional laws and regulations, Human Resources Information System (HRIS), labor relations laws and regulations.
Experience: 10 to 15 years of relevant experience, including several years in labor relations.
Knowledge: Labor relations management practices and human resources, talent management, staffing, basic principles of compensation and benefits, written and oral communication skills, knowledge of Google environment, bilingualism would be an assets (English and French).
● Required availability to travel across Canada and must have a valid driver’s license
● Must have the desire to work in a fast paced environment with providing an excellent customer service to managers and employees
