We have an exciting opportunity available for a a hands‑on HR Manager supporting our fast‑paced, high‑volume distribution center. In this role you’ll partner directly with site leadership while remaining actively involved in daily HR execution—driving engagement, ensuring compliance, supporting employee relations, and enabling strong operational performance.

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with distribution center leaders to align people strategy with business goals.

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to managers and operations leaders in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

  • Lead employee relations efforts, including coaching, investigations, and issue resolution

  • Apply HR policies and practices consistently across the site.

  • Support high-volume hiring, onboarding, and workforce planning for hourly and salaried roles.

  • Drive performance management, succession planning, and leadership development.

  • Monitor headcount, turnover, attendance, and staffing trends to support labor planning.

  • Partner with leaders on training needs, onboarding, compliance, safety, and development programs.

  • Collaborate with Talent Acquisition, Benefits, Compensation, Payroll, and Communications to deliver HR programs effectively.

  • Lead engagement and retention efforts to build a strong workplace culture.

  • Ensure compliance with employment laws, company policies, and workplace standards.

  • Support compensation and payroll processes with accuracy and timeliness.

  • Provide HR leadership during organizational change, staffing shifts, and process improvements.

  • Lead HR projects, manage timelines, and drive execution across key initiatives.

  • Identify opportunities to improve HR processes and site performance.

  • Lead and develop the HR team while setting clear expectations and priorities.

  • Manage performance through coaching, feedback, recognition, and corrective action, as needed.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in HR, Business or relevant equivalent experience 

  • 5 years progressive HR management experience

  • Previous experience providing HR support in a high volume Distribution Center or manufacturing environment

Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear; and use hands to manipulate objects or controls. The employee is regularly required to stand and walk.  On occasion the incumbent may be required to stoop, bend or reach above the shoulders. The employee must occasionally lift up to 25 - 50 pounds. Specific conditions of this job are typical of frequent and continuous computer-based work requiring periods of sitting, close vision and ability to adjust focus. Occasional travel.
