The HR Manager serves as a strategic partner and trusted advisor to studio leadership—championing the full employee lifecycle, aligning people strategy with business objectives, and fostering a culture of growth, engagement, and development across the organization in Brazil.
In this dual strategic and handson role, the HR Manager ensures that HR programs, local processes, and people focused initiatives strengthen studio performance and support a positive, inclusive culture. Key Responsibilities
Strategic & Advisory
- Acts as a trusted advisor to studio leadership, championing the local HR strategy, culture, and employer brand.
- Partners with leaders to develop and execute HR strategies aligned with current and future talent needs in Brazil.
- Translates firmwide HR and Learning & Development priorities into actionable plans tailored for the Brazilian studio and it´s culture.
- Supports leaders in fostering an inclusive, equitable, and high performing work environment.
Talent Management & Employee Lifecycle
- Leads all HR processes including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, compensation guidance, recruitment practices, performance management, and career development support. Compliant employment practices, performance management, and career development support.
- Manages the end-to-end talent acquisition process: partnering with leaders to define competencies, recruiting and interviewing candidates, managing offer processes, and ensuring alignment with local legislation to end talent acquisition process: partnering with leaders to define competencies, recruiting and interviewing candidates, managing offer processes, and ensuring alignment with local legislation.
- Provides coaching, guidance, and mediation support on feedback conversations, conflict resolution, and employee development.
- Supports recognition programs and employee engagement initiatives tailored to the needs of the Brazil studio.
Compliance & Risk Management
- Ensures compliance with all applicable Brazilian laws, health and safety regulations, and partners standardization.
- Advises leaders on local legal implications of HR decisions and partners with global HR and Legal when necessary.
- Oversee HR documentation, recordkeeping, and HRIS data accuracy.
HR Operations
- Oversees maintenance and use of HRIS platforms (such as UKG Pro or local equivalents) to ensure data integrity and reporting accuracy.
- Partners with Corporate HR to implement company-wide policies within the Brazilian context.
- Supports routine benefits administration, including local benefit plans, leave management (Férias, INSS, etc.), and payroll coordination with finance/payroll teams.
- Helps promote the studio’s brand and employee experience through internal and external communication channels, including social media when appropriate.

- Works with leadership to ensure equity in HR processes and support global JEDI (Justice, Equity, Diversity & Inclusion) goals in culturally relevant ways.
- Promotes a respectful, collaborative, and psychologically safe workplace environment.

Technical Skills & Competencies
Proficiencies
- Strong command of Microsoft Suite, including Teams.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Portuguese; English proficiency required for global interaction.
- Experience with HR data analysis, compliance, and reporting.
- Familiarity with HRIS systems such as UKG Pro (or similar platforms).
- Experience in recruitment, interviewing, and talent selection.

Licensure / Certifications / Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or related field.
