Who You Are
We are looking for a Human Resources Manager to join our team in Allentown, PA! You will report directly to our Associate Director of People & Talent. You will be responsible for managing the following areas: Employee Relations, Hourly Payroll, Labor Law Compliance, Performance Management, Recruiting, and Training & Development. You will work closely with our on-site management team to execute HR initiatives and strategies to drive organizational effectiveness, employee engagement, and compliance within our facility.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee our hourly recruiting process
- Partner with on-site management to review weekly payroll
- Effectively manage employee relations issues and ensure that management is aware and proactively responds
- Help drive initiatives regarding culture and employee engagement
- Stay informed on changes in labor laws and regulations, adjusting HR policies and practices accordingly
- Determine training needs for the facility and translate the needs into training and development programs
Requirements:
- This position is required to be on-site Monday through Friday
- 4+ years of Human Resources experience (manufacturing experience preferred)
- You have excellent judgment and problem-solving capabilities; as well as the ability to make thoughtful decisions
- Strong project management capabilities, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks effectively, and deliver results within established timelines
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
- Dog lovers are a plus!
