The Human Resources Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the hotel's human resources function, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, benefits administration, compliance, training and development, payroll support, performance management, and employee engagement. This position serves as a strategic partner to department leaders while fostering a positive workplace culture and ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
Essential ResponsibilitiesTalent Acquisition & Onboarding- Manage full-cycle recruitment for all hotel positions.
- Create and post job advertisements on various recruiting platforms.
- Screen candidates, conduct interviews, and coordinate hiring decisions.
- Facilitate new hire onboarding and orientation programs.
- Ensure completion of all employment documentation and background screenings.
- Serve as a trusted resource for employees and managers.
- Investigate employee concerns and complaints in a timely manner.
- Provide guidance on company policies and workplace practices.
- Support conflict resolution and promote a positive work environment.
- Assist managers with coaching, counseling, and employee development.
- Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment regulations.
- Administer HR policies, procedures, and employee handbook updates.
- Manage personnel files and HR records accurately and confidentially.
- Oversee workers' compensation claims, unemployment claims, and leave administration.
- Coordinate compliance training and mandatory workplace postings.
- Administer employee benefits programs including health, dental, vision, retirement, and leave benefits.
- Assist employees with benefit enrollment and changes.
- Partner with payroll providers to ensure accurate employee records.
- Audit HRIS and payroll data for accuracy.
- Coordinate performance evaluations and employee development initiatives.
- Identify training needs and implement learning opportunities.
- Support succession planning and workforce development efforts.
- Facilitate leadership and compliance training programs.
- Plan employee recognition programs and team-building activities.
- Support initiatives that promote employee satisfaction and retention.
- Foster an inclusive, respectful, and service-oriented culture.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
- Minimum of 3 years of Human Resources experience.
- Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
- Experience with recruitment, employee relations, and compliance.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS systems.
- Hospitality industry experience.
- SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification.
- Experience with ADP Workforce Now.
- Experience administering leave programs, workers' compensation, and employee benefits.
- Ability to sit, stand, walk, and use a computer for extended periods.
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 25 pounds.
- Ability to move throughout hotel property as needed.

Salary Range: $55,000 - $60,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications.
