Summary

The Human Resources Manager leads the HR Operations team for Acutec and is responsible for the daily leadership, coordination, and execution of employee-facing HR operations. This role has complete operational ownership of daily employee-facing HR operations including recruiting, employee relations, onboarding, policy administration, and front-line HR support across all Acutec facilities. The HR Manager ensures timely resolution of employee concerns and focuses on delivering a positive, compliant, and productive workplace experience. This position directly supervises the Recruiter, HR Generalists, HR Administrative Assistant, and the Intern Project Manager roles.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

· Provide oversight on conflict resolution, attendance issues, and workplace behavior

· Lead employee relations investigations and ensure timely, consistent documentation

· Coach supervisors on corrective actions, performance management, and policy interpretation

· Owns and maintains the Acutec recruiting system and drives candidate throughput while maintaining a world-class applicant experience

· Manage onboarding processes to ensure new employees receive accurate information, training and support

· Monitor metrics relating to recruiting, turnover, and workforce planning

· Interpret and enforce company policies consistently across all Acutec facilities

· Develop and recommend policy improvements based on operational needs and compliance requirements

· Ensure HR documentation, forms, and workflows are accurate and up-to-date as they transition to a fully digital environment

· Support the HR Director in implementing HR initiatives and organizational changes

· Lead initiatives that strengthen culture, recognition, communication and retention

· Partner with Communications & Marketing on internal messaging and employer branding

· Provide daily direction, coaching, and performance feedback to direct reports

· Deliver timely, accurate, and professional HR service

Education & Experience Requirements:

A bachelor’s degree and three to five years of HR experience, or a bachelor’s in HR Management and two years’ experience in the HR field, or seven years’ experience in the HR field and or any similar combination of education and experience. 

Demonstrated front-line supervisory experience of human resource staff is preferred.

Required Knowledge and Skills:

Considerable knowledge of principles and practices of personnel administration, effective oral and written communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Supervisory Responsibilities

Required to supervise the staff within the HR Operations business unit, currently including HR Generalists, Recruiter, Administrative Assistant, and Intern project manager roles.

Skills Required

  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent combination of education and experience) and 3-5 years HR experience (or 7 years alternative)
  • Considerable knowledge of principles and practices of personnel administration
  • Effective oral and written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • Demonstrated front-line supervisory experience of human resource staff
