Responsibilities

DUTIES, RESPONSIBILITIES, ACCOUNTABILITIES AND AUTHORITIES

  • Partner with operations and management to align goals and assure selection of candidates in line with requirements and in compliance with local laws and company policies.

  • Drive operational efficiency and organizational compliance by strategically overseeing all administrative functions within the factory. This includes ensuring optimal facility management, security, housekeeping, transport coordination, and vendor management. Lead initiatives to maintain statutory compliance, uphold high safety and hygiene standards, and implement cost control measures through proactive budget monitoring. Align administrative processes with the factory’s strategic   goals to create a secure, compliant, and productivity-enhancing environment.

  • Lead the onboarding process to ensure it is of the highest quality and up to date, providing clarity and connection for employees to align their roles with the overall business vision.

  • Collaborate with the Talent Acquisition team to ensure that the Talent Hiring Process adheres to organizational standards and policies. Regularly discuss Manpower planning to ensure positions are filled appropriately, supporting recruiters in obtaining feedback from hiring managers to ensure the right talent is hired.

  • Work closely with the Talent Management Team to implement Performance Management discussions and Mid-year reviews as needed guiding supervisors and managers in improving employee performance.

  • Contribute to Strategic HR initiatives by planning, monitoring, and executing HR initiatives in alignment with Country objectives, including Competency enhancement, workforce planning, and succession planning.

  • Collaborate with the Rewards Team to ensure that benefits programs are competitive and equitable.

  • Partner with the Payroll team to guarantee 100% accuracy in payroll-related inputs. Raise cases before the payroll deadline and ensure they are approved in accordance with the process.

  • Address employee concerns, manage grievances, and foster a positive work environment. Investigate and resolve employee issues and conflicts. Ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies, updating them as needed. Maintain HR records, analyze workforce data, and generate reports to inform decision-making.

  • The employee is responsible for performing duties in accordance with the company’s policies, procedures, and quality objectives
  • The employee has the necessary authority to make decisions within their scope of work and escalate issues as needed and collaborate with relevant stakeholders to ensure operational effectiveness.
  • The employee is accountable for the quality, accuracy, and timeliness of their work, as well as for reporting any nonconformities or risks that may impact quality, legal compliances, safety, environment, or customer satisfaction.
  • Support and participate on achieving organizational QHSE objectives.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications / Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field. 
  • Minimum of 7+ years of experience as an HR Business Partner with progressive responsibility in HR roles. 
  • In-depth understanding of labor laws, regulations, and HR best practices. 
  • Proficiency in HRIS (Human Resources Information Systems) and HR software. 
  • Knowledge and awareness of API Q1, ISO 9001, and ISO 45001 requirements. 
  • Demonstrated leadership and team management abilities. 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities. 
  • Ability to analyze HR metrics and data to support business decisions. 
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. 
  • Ability to work effectively in diverse and multicultural environments.

Preferred Qualifications 

  • Master’s degree or MBA in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. 
  • Professional HR certifications such as PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP. 
  • Experience managing HR teams and overseeing multiple HR functions. 
  • Experience working in a strategic HR Business Partner capacity supporting business leaders. 
  • Experience in developing and implementing HR strategies, policies, and initiatives.
