What You'll Do:
- HR Leadership: Manage day-to-day HR functions, including HRIS system (BambooHR), employee engagement, policy interpretation, and employee life-cycle management.
- Employee Relations: Provide guidance and support to managers and employees, resolve conflicts, and ensure compliance with labor laws.
- Onboarding & Offboarding: Oversee new hire integration, employee retention, and exit processes.
- HR Compliance: Stay updated on HR laws, ensuring policies comply with legal requirements and managing benefits enrollment.
- Team Development: Lead and mentor HR staff and provide training/coaching to supervisors on performance management, growth opportunities, and corrective actions.
What We're Looking For:
- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Psychology, Organizational Leadership, or similar.
- 6+ years of HR experience in progressively responsible leadership roles may substitute for a degree.
- PHR Certification preferred.
- Experience:
- 4+ years in Human Resources leadership roles.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in HR Generalist or Employee Relations.
- Experience in construction or manufacturing environments preferred.
- Skills:
- Strong knowledge of HR principles, employment law, and business management techniques.
- Excellent interpersonal, active listening, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to manage time effectively and resolve complex issues.
