The Human Resources Intern supports day-to-day HR operations with a focus on onboarding and offboarding, recruitment coordination, employee engagement initiatives, and HR documentation management. This role provides hands-on experience across multiple HR functions and contributes to projects that improve the employee experience and HR efficiency.

Onboarding & Offboarding
- Assist with employee onboarding and offboarding processes, including preparing paperwork, coordinating schedules, and ensuring completion of required documentation.
- Support new hire orientation activities and help maintain onboarding checklists and materials.
- Assist with offboarding documentation, system updates, and exit process coordination.
Recruitment & Interview Scheduling
- Coordinate and schedule interviews between candidates, hiring managers, and HR team members.
- Support recruitment activities such as posting jobs, tracking candidates, and maintaining recruitment records.
- Assist with preparation for interviews, including interview packets and candidate communications.
Career Fairs & Recruitment Events
- Support planning and participation in career fairs, campus recruiting events, and community outreach activities.
- Assist with event logistics, materials preparation, and follow-up communications.
- Represent the organization professionally at recruitment and networking events when appropriate.
Employee Engagement & HR Events
- Assist with planning and execution of employee engagement initiatives, recognition activities, and internal HR events.
- Provide logistical and administrative support for wellness, engagement, and culture-building programs.
- Help gather feedback and assist with post-event follow-up or documentation.
Job Description Project & Template Management
- Assist with job description projects, including reviewing, organizing, and updating job descriptions.
- Support job description audits and version control to ensure consistency and accuracy.
- Maintain and update HR templates, forms, and standardized documents as needed.
Administrative & Project Support
- Provide general administrative support to the HR team, including data entry, filing, and document management.
- Participate in HR projects and process improvement initiatives.

- High school diploma and currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
Working Conditions and Physical Requirements:
Corporate Office & Event: This position primarily operates in a professional corporate office environment. Work is typically performed in a climate-controlled setting with standard office equipment, including computers, phones, copiers, and printers. The role requires the ability to remain in a stationary position for extended periods, as well as to move throughout the office to access files, equipment, and meeting spaces. Noise levels are generally low to moderate.
In addition to office-based work, the role may require attendance at career fairs, recruitment events, employee engagement activities, or other company-sponsored events, which may take place at offsite locations. During these events, the employee may be required to stand or walk for extended periods, transport or set up materials, and interact with candidates or employees for prolonged durations.
Work schedules are generally aligned with standard business hours; however, occasional flexibility may be required to support business needs, including early mornings, evenings, or limited weekend hours when attending events, meetings, or outreach activities. The employee is expected to maintain a neat, clean, and professional workspace and adhere to company guidelines for workplace appearance and conduct. Professional on-camera appearance is expected for video meetings and virtual events.
