Compensation for this position is set at $20/hour.This person will need to work hybrid from our Plymouth Meeting, PA office three days per week.Accolade's internship program runs June 9th-August 15th, 2025.

Role Overview

The Human Resources Intern, will work under the direct supervision of the Director, People & Culture Business Partner, and is responsible for providing day to day administrative support for a segment of the Care Delivery Operations organization. Additionally, this person will have the unique opportunity to learn how to respond to general employee inquiries about people and culture programs, procedures, and polices, while partnering closely with other members across the People and Culture team.

A day in the life…

  • Utilize data analytics tools and techniques to collect, analyze, and interpret HR data pertaining to employee performance, engagement, turnover rates, and recruitment metrics.

  • Identify trends, patterns, and correlations within the HR data to gain valuable insights and offer data-driven recommendations for enhancing employee satisfaction, retention, and overall organizational performance.

  • Collaborate with HR and business stakeholders to determine key performance indicators (KPIs) and develop HR analytics dashboards and reports to monitor and track HR metrics effectively.

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to devise and implement data-driven strategies and initiatives aligned with organizational objectives, including talent retention, workforce planning, and succession management.

  • Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in HR analytics, employment legislation, and HR technology solutions, and make informed recommendations for adopting new tools or systems that can enhance the organization's HR analytics capabilities.

  • Attend meetings with client groups to gain an understanding of the business, growth and upcoming HR  related actions that ensure the client receives the necessary support to operate optimally

  • Assist with maintaining information systems and processing general requests in a timely manner. i.e. employment verification letters, accommodation requests etc.

  • Act as a liaison with functional areas within the People and Culture team to ensure an understanding of business processes

  • Independently plan, present and execute one project during the duration of the internship

  • Supporting in meeting business objectives through workforce planning, recruiting, organizational design and development

  • Have a firm understanding our People & Culture processes and assist with leading those processes across the client groups in which they support

  • Review and gather continuous feedback on how to improve HR processes

  • Utilize Microsoft Office and other software solutions to prepare documents and presentations

  • Perform other assigned duties

What we are looking for…

  • Bachelor's or Master’s program pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field.  

  • GPA OF 3.0 or above

  • Demonstrated experience managing projects and initiatives, including developing project plans, identifying key stakeholders, preparing corresponding communication plans, identifying milestones, deadlines, and metrics to assess outcomes.

  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships, collaborate with others and manage interpersonal dynamics

  • Demonstrated ability to appropriately deal with “people-sensitive” issues and handle confidential documents.

  • Demonstrate strong critical thinking, decision making and judgment skills
