Position Summary: The Human Resources Intern provides administrative support to the HR department while gaining valuable exposure to the various aspects of the HR function and duties.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ensure an environment of excellence in the human resources department by answering employee requests and questions.
- Develop knowledge of basic employment laws and regulations as it relates to the Human Resource function.
- Scans and prepares documents into appropriate electronic files.
- Assist with data analysis and data integrity across various systems.
- Ensure accurate record keeping and update HRIS as needed.
- Assists with recruitment and interview process, tracks status of candidates in HRIS.
- Assists with onboarding, orientation, and training coordination for new hires.
- Assists with basic benefit administration and questions.
- Assists or prepares correspondence as requested.
- Adhere to company safety rules, policies, procedures, and regulations.
- Perform related duties as required.
