THE POSITION: Human Resources Intern
Seeking a driven, detail-oriented, and enthusiastic HR Intern to support our people operations and talent initiatives in Malaysia. In this role, you will gain hands-on experience across the employee lifecycle—from talent acquisition and onboarding to HR administration and employer branding—serving as an essential support node for our regional HR team.
Reporting to the MY HRBP, you will collaborate across departments to help build an engaging employee experience, streamline day-to-day HR workflows, and maintain high standards of data accuracy and operational efficiency.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
- Assist in end-to-end recruitment operations: phone screenings, interview coordination, scheduling, onboarding
- Support mid-to-large scale HR projects alongside the HRBP, from process revamps to policy rollouts
- Coordinate employee engagement and internal events
- Maintain HR records, personnel files, and digital documentation
- Participate in HR operations improvement: flow design, compliance checks, data tracking
- Provide administrative support and complete other assigned tasks
WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
- Strong interest in HR functions and eagerness to learn deeply about recruitment, compliance, and operations
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Able to handle multiple tasks independently with solid time management
- Clear and empathetic communication skills; not afraid to reach out or follow up
- Proficiency in workplace tools (e.g., Slack, Google Workspace), experienced with different AI tools (Gemini, ChatGPT, Claude) will be a plus.
- Comfortable with startup culture, ready to ask questions and seek improvements
- Passionate about people, systems, and how fun makes work better
