We are seeking Human Resources Intern to support our team with impactful HR projects and initiatives. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic, fast-paced environment while contributing to HR operations. In this role, you will regularly be exposed to sensitive and confidential employee information. A high level of discretion, professionalism, and respect for confidentiality is essential to maintain trust and compliance with organizational policies and legal standards.
Responsibilities
Prepare HR documents including reports, employment confirmations, leave forms, promotions, transfers and other documents.
Maintain employee records and ensure data accuracy.
Respond to employee inquiries on topics like leave policies, address updates, and general HR matters.
Maintain weekly HR reports tracking departures and key metrics.
Update HR systems, dashboards, and forms.
Coordinate exit interviews by sending questionnaires, updating records, and liaising with the HR team.
Support documentation and improvement of HR processes and practices.
Audit employee records and reporting structures to ensure accurate organizational charts.
Assist with occupational health and safety communications and follow-ups.
Help manage work permit and visa applications.
Contribute ideas for process improvements and support HR initiatives.
Collaborate and contribute on various HR projects and administrative tasks.
Qualifications
Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree, a master’s degree, or a post graduate certificate in human resources.
Proficient in Microsoft Suite, including Office, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects with accuracy
Proactive, flexible and collaborative mindset.
Strong written and spoken communication skills.
Written and spoken French knowledge is an asset.
