The HRIS Analyst will support the ongoing development and administration of the HRIS. This position is responsible for in-depth analysis of human resources data to provide insights to inform and improve departmental decision making.
What you will do here:
Production Support:
Provide support for HRIS system including researching and resolving problems, unexpected results or process flaws; performing scheduled activities; recommending solutions or alternate methods to meet requirements.
HR Analytics:
Develop and maintain analysis and reporting on key Talent areas, including workforce performance, recruiting, turnover and engagement. Build data visualizations/dashboards.
Projects/Process Improvement:
Identify opportunities for process improvements, innovative solutions, Use project management skills in managing projects.
System Maintenance:
Assist in the review, testing and implementation of HRIS upgrades or patches. Document process and results.
Training:
Support the development of user procedures, guidelines, and documentation.
Train users on new processes/functionality.
Individual Development:
Maintain awareness of current trends in HRIS with a focus on product and service development, delivery and support, and applying key technologies.
Examine trends in information systems training, materials and techniques. Through classes, reading, or other mechanisms, continuously increase both HR knowledge and HRIS application/tools knowledge.
Participate in user group meetings/conferences.
Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
What you will need:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
Equivalent combination of education and experience required.
2+ years experience in HRIS administration, implementation, and maintenance required.
Proficiency in HRIS software, databases, and reporting tools required.
Strong attention to detail and data accuracy required.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills required.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously required.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills required.
Familiarity with data privacy regulations required.
Demonstrated understanding of HR processes and practices preferred.
Advanced Microsoft Office skills especially Excel required.
PHR - Professional Human Resource Certification preferred.
