Human Resources
- Coordinate recruitment efforts, including job postings, candidate screening, interviews, background checks, and onboarding
- Conduct new hire orientation in partnership with the Staff Development Coordinator
- Maintain employee personnel, medical, and compliance records
- Assist with employee relations matters, investigations, and policy interpretation
- Manage unemployment claims and participate in hearings when necessary
- Support employee recognition, engagement, and retention initiatives
- Participate in daily staffing and operational meetings
- Process bi-weekly payroll accurately and on time
- Complete new hire payroll setup, tax withholding, and I-9 documentation
- Analyze payroll reports and resolve discrepancies
- Assist with HR audits and regulatory compliance
- Support HIPAA compliance, OSHA tracking, workers' compensation, and risk management activities
- Human Resources and payroll experience
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism
- Experience using HRIS and payroll systems
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
- Associate degree or equivalent experience
- Healthcare, skilled nursing, rehabilitation, or long-term care experience
- Experience with ADP Lyric, Workforce Manager, or similar payroll/HR systems
- Primarily office-based position
- Frequent computer and keyboard use
- Occasional bending, reaching, and lifting up to 25 pounds

What We Do
Silas Creek Rehabilitation Center is a 90-bed skilled nursing facility located in Winston-Salem, NC. The center provides specialized short-term, inpatient rehabilitation and long-term skilled nursing care, offering a full range of medical, rehabilitative, and social services. Their facilities include private and semi-private rooms and a rehabilitation gym to support resident recovery and independence.
