Pacific Coast Producers (PCP), a growing agricultural cooperative with food production facilities across the West Coast, is seeking an experienced and talented HR Coordinator to join our Distribution Center in Lodi, CA. Primary job duties would include:

  • Adhere to and administer the Collective Bargaining Agreement in all aspects. 
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for employees and management, answering questions and providing exceptional customer service.
  • Oversee timekeeping data, which includes reconciling timecards, reviewing daily/weekly hours, and managing the facility-level meal penalty process.
  • Print and provide annual plant rules and forms for all CBA employees. This includes but is not limited to on-boarding, training, and scheduling.
  • Process documentation and prepare reports relating to activities (staffing, recruitment, training, grievances, performance evaluations, etc.)
  • Properly handle complaints and grievance procedures.
  • Provide back up for payroll, scheduling, benefits, and leave administration.
  • Assist in all phases of the recruitment & hiring process.
  • Assist with employee inquiries and resolution of issues.
  • Interface, promote, and strengthen HR relations in a professional and confidential manner with other departments, co-workers, and employees.
  • Tackle other duties and projects as assigned to support the team. 
  • Other duties as assigned.


Job Requirements

  • Associates degree in relevant field of study or 2 years of related labor experience in a Union environment. 
  • Ability to work half days on Saturdays during our peak season (August to February)
  • Demonstrated proficiency with HRIS applications, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Email and various types of office equipment. 
  • Understanding of timekeeping practices, scheduling, and interpretation of collective bargaining agreements.
  • Good organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast paced and dynamic environment.
  • Ability to work independently or collaborate effectively with a team.
  • The ability to handle sensitive and confidential material, to work with integrity, and exercise good judgment. 
  • Ability to promote a professional and safe work environment. 
  • Excellent customer service skills, excellent written and oral communication skills, and strong interpersonal skills. 
  • Ability to learn, understand, and apply new concepts.
  • Bilingual (Punjabi or Spanish) a plus.

Salary Range: $25 - $28 per hour (based on experience). This is a full-time, on-site role based at our distribution center in Lodi, CA and must be able to work half days on Saturdays during our pack season (August to February). The pay range reflects the reasonable expectation for what the company anticipates paying for this role at the time of posting. The actual salary offered will depend on factors including, but not limited to:

  • Relevant skills, education, and experience
  • Job-related qualifications and certifications
  • Internal pay equity
  • Market conditions and business needs
