Hilton Mystic is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Human Resources (HR) Coordinator to join our team in Mystic, CT. This role is essential in supporting the HR department with a variety of administrative and coordination tasks to ensure smooth HR operations and foster a positive workplace environment.
Responsibilities- Assist with recruitment efforts including posting job openings, scheduling interviews, and communicating with candidates.
- Maintain and update employee records in HR databases and files.
- Support the onboarding process for new hires, including orientation and documentation.
- Coordinate employee training sessions and track attendance.
- Provide administrative support for payroll and benefits processing.
- Respond to employee inquiries related to HR policies, benefits, and procedures.
- Assist in organizing company events and employee engagement initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and employment laws.
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field is a plus.
- Previous experience in an HR coordination or administrative role preferred.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and HR information systems.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
