The Human Resources Generalist is responsible for:
- Providing support and expertise with the Human Resources Information System and all Human Resources functions
- Developing, maintaining and generating reports, developing and maintaining queries and reports for the organization and for state and federal regulatory requirements, benefits, and administrative functions
- Managing multiple projects independently and collaboratively to accomplish responsibilities, goals, projects and deadlines
- Providing excellent customer service to both internal and external customers and is a team player with the capability to learn functionality of a variety of databases
- Assisting with fringe benefit organization and processing as directed
- Having a high level of computer competency and efficiency
- Assisting with filing, and other administrative tasks when needed
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office applications.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision and maintain a high level of self-motivation.
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Working knowledge of employment laws and human resources practices preferred.
- Ability to exercise sound judgment and make independent administrative decisions within established guidelines.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with individuals at all levels both within and outside the organization.
- Valid driver's license required.
