Are you a strategic, people-focused HR professional looking to make a real impact in a mission-driven organization? We’re seeking a Human Resources Generalist to join our team in Turners Falls, MA. This is an on-site role supporting a diverse and collaborative environment, where your expertise will drive key HR programs and contribute to a positive workplace culture.
What You’ll DoAs our HR Generalist, you'll manage a wide range of responsibilities essential to the health and effectiveness of our organization, including:

Overseeing recruitment, hiring, onboarding, and offboarding processes.

Administering competitive benefits and employee evaluation programs.

Ensuring compliance with employment laws (EEO, FMLA, ADA, etc.).

Supporting employee relations, performance management, and conflict resolution.

Collaborating with leadership to improve HR policies and enhance employee engagement.

Fostering a workplace culture that is inclusive, respectful, and aligned with our mission and values.

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.

3+ years of experience in human resources management.

PHR or SHRM-CP preferred.

Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.

Proven ability to handle sensitive issues with professionalism and discretion.

Up-to-date knowledge of HR best practices and state/federal labor laws.

Proficient in Google, Microsoft Office and HRIS tools.

- This job operates in a professional office environment.
- Primarily a sedentary role; must be able to:
- Remain in a stationary position (e.g., seated at a desk) for extended periods.
- Operate a computer, phone, and standard office equipment.
- Communicate effectively via phone, video conference, and email.
- Occasionally move about the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
- Occasionally lift or carry office supplies or packages up to 20 pounds.
