Primary Responsibilities
- Maintain and manage HR systems and records, including HRIS (Rippling), personnel files, job descriptions, payroll processing, and timekeeping accuracy
- Support the full employee lifecycle, including onboarding, orientation, offboarding, employee changes, employment verifications, and leave administration (FMLA, LOA, workers’ compensation)
- Assist with performance management processes and employee review cycles
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and reporting requirements (ACA, EEO-1, 401(k), etc.) and support internal audits
- Contribute to employee engagement, training, recognition programs, and company events
- Provide day-to-day HR support and perform additional duties as assigned to support business needs
Experience & Requirements
- 2+ years of human resources or equivalent relevant experience
- Payroll processing experience preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field a plus
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills with high attention to detail
- Ability to perform effectively under pressure with sound judgment
- Strong interpersonal, decision-making, and conflict-management skills
- Proficiency with HRIS platforms and Microsoft Office/G Suite
