JOB PURPOSE

The HR Generalist is responsible for the day-to-day management of HR operations; performing both administrative and strategic functions in the administration of the policies, procedures and programs of the organization.

Duties & Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

1)       Administers various human resources plans and procedures; assists in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures, HR systems, and performance management.

2)       Maintains Human Resource Information System records & physical files, ensuring data integrity, and accuracy and compiles reports from the database as needed.

3)       Assists with writing, and updating policies, procedures, methods, and guidelines, communicating, and enforcing organizational values.

4)       Manages the onboarding process and orientation of new hires.

5)       Reviews payroll hours for employees and process before submitting for approval 

6)       Assists in handling Disciplinary Matters at all stages.

7)       Provides monthly reports on Human Resource metrics.

8)       Maintains compliance with employment laws and regulations and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.

9)       Undertakes tasks relating to performance management.

10)     Implements and maintains employee recognition programs.

11)     Acts as a liaison between the organization and external benefit providers and vendors

12)     Oversees daily operations of the administrative staff.

13)     Participates in cross-functional initiatives to improve organizational effectiveness.

14)     Comply with all safety and security procedures of the Company, Airlines, Airport Operations, IATA and ICAO.

15)     To perform any other duties as directed by Management.

Qualifications & Skills

•           Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management or relevant field

•           4+ years’ experience in Human Resources

•           Ability to communicate effectively.

•           Proficiency with Microsoft Office

•           Must possess a high level of confidentiality

•           Excellent knowledge of Cayman labour Act and regulations
