WHERE DETAILS MAKE A MISSION-CRITICAL IMPACT.
BEHIND EVERY GREAT ORGANIZATION IS AN HR PROFESSIONAL WHO KEEPS IT RUNNING.
At DuraServ, that person is visible, valued, and built for growth.
DuraServ is looking for a Human Resources Generalist who thrives on program execution, data-driven people insights, and the operational precision that makes a growing organization run well.
Human Resources Generalist | Talent Management | Corporate Headquarters | Coppell, TX | On-Site
DuraServ is a national leader in commercial dock and door solutions, operating across eight U.S. regions with a workforce of field technicians, sales professionals, branch leaders, and corporate team members. As we grow — including through acquisitions — the precision and consistency of our HR programs directly shapes the team member experience at every level of the organization.
The Human Resources Generalist is the engine behind that consistency. You'll own the new hire orientation and onboarding experience, serve as the in-house expert on our ADP Workforce Now HCM platform, configure HR analytics dashboards that give leadership predictive workforce insights, and actively drive workflow improvements — including AI-enabled solutions that reduce administrative burden across the function.
This is not a seat-filler role. It's a high-visibility position on a lean, capable HR team — and a strong foundation for expanded business partnership and deeper functional growth.
What You'll DoOwn the Team Member Experience
- Manage the New Hire Orientation and Onboarding Program as DuraServ's culture and brand ambassador — creating a first impression that sets the standard for what a strong team member experience looks like
- Lead corporate social responsibility initiatives, recognition programs, and engagement activities that build a respectful, appreciative workplace
- Partner with line managers and HR leadership to support workforce matters, employee relations, and the consistent application of HR programs and policies
Drive Technology and Analytics
- Serve as the internal subject matter expert on ADP Workforce Now — coaching team members and managers on self-service features and identifying workflow improvements that make the platform more user-friendly
- Configure and maintain HR analytics dashboards and reports that deliver predictive workforce insights and key performance indicators to management — identifying trends, areas of concern, and actionable solutions
- Recommend and execute workflow improvements using generative AI solutions and automation — eliminating routine administrative tasks so the HR team stays focused on higher-impact work
Support HR Operations and Growth
- Provide HR support and cross-functional partnership to business lines in coordination with HR leadership, internal departments, service providers, and third-party administrators
- Oversee assigned vendors that provide supplemental HR processes and services, ensuring delivery meets company standards and program requirements
- Lead and participate in special projects, business acquisition integration initiatives, and professional development programs — this role grows with the organization
You see the operational details that others overlook — and you understand that in HR, those details directly affect people's lives and the company's performance.
- Operationally precise — you manage records, timelines, and HR processes with the accuracy and consistency that builds trust across the organization
- Digitally fluent — you're comfortable in HCM platforms, Microsoft 365, analytics tools, and you actively seek out AI solutions that make the function more efficient
- Data-informed — you configure dashboards and interpret workforce data not just to report what happened, but to flag what's coming and recommend what to do about it
- A skilled communicator — you interact professionally with team members, managers, candidates, and external partners at every level; clarity and confidentiality are non-negotiable
- Curious and growth-oriented — you look for process improvements before you're asked, and you see this role as a platform, not a ceiling
- Trustworthy by default — confidentiality, sound judgment, and accurate execution of established procedures aren't skills you developed; they're how you operate
Required
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Business, Human Resources, or a related field — HR work experience is a must-have, not a nice-to-have
- 2+ years of HR experience with demonstrated knowledge of HR practices, employment documentation, confidentiality requirements, and applicable employment law
- Demonstrated experience with HCM technology platforms — comfort with ADP Workforce Now or comparable systems strongly preferred
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365 — including the ability to learn and apply reporting tools, digital workflows, and AI-enabled solutions to improve HR operations
Preferred
- SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification, or active pursuit of either
- Experience configuring HR analytics dashboards and generating workforce insights from HCM data
- Background supporting acquisition integration or rapid organizational growth from an HR operations perspective
- Demonstrated use of AI solutions or workflow automation tools to improve HR process efficiency
DuraServ invests in people who show up with precision, initiative, and the drive to improve what they touch. This role has the visibility and scope to grow with you.
- Competitive compensation commensurate with experience
- Full benefits package: medical, dental, vision, and 401K with company match
- Company-provided life insurance and short-term disability
- Direct exposure to HR operations, technology, analytics, and acquisition integration — a broad foundation for career growth
- A lean, capable HR team where your contributions are visible and your development is intentional
- A growing national organization where the scale of the work increases, and the opportunity for expanded responsibility grows with it
DuraServ is a company where the HR function is expected to show up with precision, operate with confidentiality, and deliver programs that actually work in the field — not just look good on paper.
If you're the kind of HR professional who spots a broken workflow before you're asked to fix it, who sees data as a tool to help leadership make better decisions, and who takes the team member experience personally — this is the role that was built for you.
Behind every legend is a flawless foundation. At DuraServ, that foundation is built by people like you.
