**This position supports the corporate administrative office, maintaining HUBZone residency in a qualified census tract is a requirement of this position.**

 

We are seeking a talented HR Generalist with an emphasis on recruiting, communications, and community affairs to join our dynamic team. In this position, you will play a critical role in attracting top talent to our organization, ensuring a smooth recruitment process, and contributing to our overall talent acquisition strategy. Additionally, this position requires advocacy and compliance for the federal HUBZone program.

 

Responsibilities: 

1. Talent Sourcing and Acquisition:

  • Develop and execute effective sourcing strategies to identify and attract qualified candidates through various channels, including job boards, social media, professional networks, employee referrals, and college career fairs.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs and craft job descriptions that attract the right candidates for each role.
  • Screen resumes, conduct initial interviews, and evaluate candidates' qualifications to create a pool of potential hires.
  • Recruit candidates residing in HUBZone-designated areas.

2. Recruitment Process Management:

  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, from posting job openings to facilitating job offers.
  • Coordinate and schedule interviews with candidates and hiring managers, ensuring a smooth and timely recruitment experience.
  • Keep candidates informed throughout the recruitment process, providing feedback and updates as needed.

3. HUBZone Program Advocacy and Candidate Experience:

  • Partnering with Communications and Community Programs Partner to
  • Advocate and support the purpose of the HUBZone program for our employees, managers, customers, and community.
  • Warrant compliance with all federal HUBZone requirements, including documentation for annual certification process
  • Engage employees around HUBZone residency incentives, documentation requirements, and housing options.
  • Ensure a positive candidate experience by providing timely communication, personalized attention, and a professional recruitment process.
  • Collaborate with all stakeholders to maintain a 35% plus HUBZone employee ratio. 

4. Recruitment Reporting:

  • Host weekly staffing meetings with hiring managers to review job openings and applicant flow.
  • Provide a weekly status to management on work efforts and products

5. Onboarding Support:

  • Collaborate with the HR team to assist in the onboarding process, ensuring a seamless transition for new hires.

6. HR Compliance:

  • Ensure compliance with all relevant employment laws and regulations throughout the recruitment process.

7. Employee Relations:

  • Foster positive relationships with employees and serve as a resource for addressing any concerns or questions they may have about benefits or the onboarding process.
  • Work closely with the HR team to mediate and resolve employee issues, promoting a supportive and inclusive work environment.

8. HR Projects and Initiatives:

  • Collaborate with the HR team on various projects, such as employee engagement initiatives, diversity and inclusion efforts, and talent development programs.

 



Requirements

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
  • SHRM certification desired
  • Proven experience as an HR Generalist with a focus on recruiting
  • Familiarity with applicant tracking systems ( for example, ATS-ZOHO) and other HR software for recruitment management.
  • Strong understanding of current recruitment trends and best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and connect with candidates effectively.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities.
  • A proactive and innovative mindset, continuously seeking ways to enhance the recruitment process and attract top talent.
  • Must reside in HUBZone or be willing to relocate
