Job Description:

About the Role:

We are seeking an HR Generalist for our Forest Park, GA, facility, a leading manufacturer of quality refrigerated dough. This role will work closely with employees and management to ensure effective implementation of HR policies, programs, and procedures. This role requires a strong understanding of HR principles and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

You will add value to this role by performing various functions including, but not limited to:

  • Maintains a high level of visibility, accessibility, and interaction with all employees on all shifts.
  • Performs full-cycle hourly recruiting, including drafting job postings, coordinating job fairs, conducting interviews and background checks, generating offer letters, and assisting employee orientation.
  • Coordinates the introductory review process, measuring the compliance and effectiveness of the program.
  • Utilize our HRIS, Workday, for data entry and conduct regular audits to ensure data integrity.
  • Assists in weekly, bi-weekly, and semi-monthly payroll administration for temporary, and hourly staff.
  • Tracks employee attendance, headcount, and recruitment activity, publishing the data on a weekly basis.
  • Monitors and audits the timekeeping system to ensure accuracy of schedules as well as Time off Requests.
  • Coordinates employee events and recognition activities.
  • Listens to and addresses employee concerns, using excellent judgment in escalating issues and partnering with site HR to identify resolutions.
  • Assists frontline leaders in the consistent interpretation and application of policies and practices.
  • Conducts workplace investigations.
  • Ensures a high level of integrity is maintained and that personnel matters are handled in a professional, consistent, and confidential manner.

Important Details:

  • This is a full-time, on-site role on first shift. Occasional flexibility is required to support alternate shifts.
  • The anticipated compensation for this position ranges from $64,000.00 - 96,000.00 USD annually. This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. An employee’s position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, specific competencies, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics and business or organizational needs. For certain roles, the successful candidate may be eligible for annual discretionary merit compensation award, bonus and equity pay.

You’ll fit right in if you have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business or related field preferred, or equivalent combination of experience and education.
  • 2 or more years of related Human Resources experience is required.
  • Experience working in a collective bargaining environment is strongly preferred.
  • For positions supporting a manufacturing site, experience in a plant environment is preferred.
  • Excellent problem solving, and communication skills both verbal and written.
  • Strong personal accountability for high-quality work with a continuous improvement mindset.
  • Experience using HRIS Systems such as Workday and Dimensions UKG is preferred.
