Talent Acquisition Onboarding (Multi-Location) Job Summary

The Recruiter is responsible for delivering full-cycle recruiting and a seamless onboarding experience across multiple locations. This role provides dedicated support to mission services, administrative teams, retail, and other departments by managing sourcing, hiring events, background checks, paperwork validation, orientations, and early-tenure

follow-up. The Recruiter ensures hiring compliance, strengthens workforce pipelines, and partners closely with managers to meet staffing needs efficiently and consistently.

This position is intentionally separated from HR Generalist responsibilities to allow the Recruiter to focus exclusively on talent acquisition, onboarding, and hiring compliance while supporting organizational growth and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities Full-Cycle Recruiting
  • Manage end-to-end recruiting for all departments, including mission services,

administrative roles, retail, and vocational programs.

  • Conduct sourcing, screening, interview coordination, and offer support.
  • Build strong partnerships with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and deliver timely, high-quality candidates.
  • Maintain a positive, mission-aligned candidate experience throughout the hiring process.
Onboarding Ownership
  • Oversee the entire onboarding experience, including background checks, paperwork validation, I-9 compliance, pre-employment requirements, and orientation scheduling.
  • Facilitate new hire orientations across multiple locations, ensuring consistency and compliance.
  • Conduct 30-day post-hire follow-ups to assess new hire experience, retention risks, and manager satisfaction.
  • Partner with HR Operations to ensure accurate and timely system setup for new hires.

Hiring Events Community Engagement
  • Plan and execute dedicated hiring events at locations with chronic or historical staffing challenges.
  • Represent the organization at career academies, WRO events, vocational programs, and community hiring fairs throughout the year.
  • Build relationships with community partners, workforce development agencies, and training programs to strengthen talent pipelines.
Compliance Training
  • Provide annual hiring compliance training to managers and supervisors across all departments.
  • Ensure recruiting and onboarding practices comply with federal, state, and local employment laws.
  • Maintain documentation standards, hiring records, and audit-ready files.
  • Partner with HR leadership to update hiring policies, interview guidelines, and compliance materials.
Collaboration Workforce Planning
  • Work closely with HR Generalists, HR Manager, payroll, and operations leaders to ensure smooth transitions from recruiting to onboarding to HR operations.
  • Provide insights on hiring trends, turnover risks, and pipeline challenges.
  • Support workforce planning initiatives by identifying talent gaps and recommending recruitment strategies.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, Communications, or related field preferred.
  • 2–4 years of recruiting experience, preferably in multi-location or high-volume environments.
  • Experience with applicant tracking systems and onboarding platforms.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and recruiting technologies.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience conducting hiring events or community-based recruiting.
  • Knowledge of hiring compliance, I-9 requirements, and onboarding best practices.
  • Experience supporting mission-driven or vocational programs.
  • Strong presentation skills for delivering compliance training.
Role Positioning Within HR

This role is intentionally designed to:

  • Provide dedicated recruiting and onboarding support that generalists cannot sustain at the required level.
  • Allow HR Generalists to focus on systems, HR operations, people operations, compliance, and quarterly site visits.
  • Strengthen the overall HR core by clearly separating talent acquisition from HR operations
