We are seeking a highly organized and proactive HR generalist to join our team on a fixed-term maternity cover contract.

Description

  • Collaborate with the HR Business Partner (HRBP) to support programs related to employee development, engagement, and retention.
  • Partner with Group Leaders and Office Leadership to provide updates, discuss workforce priorities, and align people strategies with business needs.
  • Participate in and present at staff and leadership meetings as required.
  • Serve as a point of contact for employees by providing guidance on HR practices, policies, and systems.
  • Collaborate with Centers of Expertise (COEs) to deliver aligned support across talent acquisition, mobility, total rewards, and learning & development.
  • Partner with the Talent Acquisition team to ensure recruitment strategies align with business needs; assess effectiveness of recruitment activities and participate in interviews as required.
  • Use a consultative approach to advise and coach managers on employee relations, performance management, HR systems implementation, and company policies.
  • Support HR Manager and HRBP in Works Council relationships, including participation in negotiations.
  • Assist in managing complex employee relations matters and support internal investigations as required.
  • Support payroll processing in collaboration with third-party providers to ensure timely and compliant delivery.
  • Maintain and update employee data in HR systems (e.g., HRIS, absence tracking, payroll, benefits) and provide user guidance as needed.
  • Coordinate onboarding programs for new employees in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Stay informed on HR trends, regulatory developments, and best practices in human resources and employment law.
  • Conduct exit interviews and provide feedback to relevant stakeholders.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 2–3+ years of experience in HR administration, HR generalist, or a related role.
  • University degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related discipline.
  • Experience working with HR systems (e.g., HRIS, payroll, absence tracking, or benefits administration tools).
  • Very good command of English, spoken and written
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Strong organizational, time management, and attention-to-detail skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage across all levels of the organization.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving and customer service skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Team-oriented mindset with a proactive approach to work.
