Department Summary
EchoStar is reimagining the future of connectivity, and our Human Resources team is the engine driving this transformation. We are seeking energetic, detail-oriented early-career professionals to join our team across three critical functional tracks. This unified requisition allows you to apply for a foundational role where you will contribute to high-impact projects-from launching enterprise-wide talent strategies to optimizing the digital employee experience.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
Functional Tracks
Upon application, candidates will be considered for one of the following specialized areas based on interest and qualifications:
- Talent Acquisition (TA) Track: Focus on the logistical management of the EchoStar Internship Program and Veteran sourcing. You will own the candidate lifecycle for early-career talent, manage university relations, and leverage AI-powered scheduling technology to ensure a seamless hiring experience.
- HR Product & Technology Track: Serve as a bridge between HR business processes and technical execution. You will support the functional performance of HCM platforms (Workday/Oracle), translate user needs into technical specifications, and lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for new HR digital workflows.
- HR Generalist Track: Provide foundational HR support across the employee lifecycle. You will partner with business leaders on performance management, employee relations, and organizational culture while initiating projects to improve HR service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Operational Excellence: Manage complex schedules, project plans, and digital workflows to support HR scalability and consistency.
- Stakeholder Partnership: Act as a trusted partner and primary point of contact for employees, people managers, and technology vendors.
- Process Innovation: Identify functional gaps in HR products or recruiting workflows and recommend enhancements to optimize the employee and candidate journey.
- Data & Insights: Monitor key program metrics, such as intern conversion or product adoption, to inform broader HR strategies.
- Event & Project Coordination: Plan and execute campus recruiting events, internal HR program rollouts, and cross-functional initiatives.
Skills, Experience and Requirements
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field preferred.
- Experience: 0-3 years of experience in HR operations, technical support, or logistics-heavy environments (e.g., student affairs or campus activities).
- Technical Proficiency: Competence in Google Workspace and familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems (iCIMS preferred) or HCM platforms (Workday, SAP SuccessFactors).
- Core Competencies: Exceptional organizational skills, an analytical mindset for problem-solving, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial culture.

- Impact: Successful execution of early-career recruiting projects and timely delivery of HR technology enhancements.
- Experience: Delivery of a frictionless, positive experience for both candidates and internal employees.
- Growth: Developing subject matter expertise across multiple HR disciplines while acting as a brand ambassador for EchoStar's culture and values .

Compensation: $27.00/Hour - $32.00/Hour

The base pay range shown is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, and competencies; compensation is based on the role's location and is subject to change based on work location.
