Role Purpose
Based in our Maple Grove, MN facility, the Director of Human Resources serves as the lead HR business partner for U.S. operations and a key execution leader for enterprise talent and organizational priorities. This role provides HR leadership for both site-based (Minnesota & Utah) and remote employees, translates business strategy into practical people plans, strengthens leadership capability, improves organizational effectiveness, and reinforces a high-performance culture.
Scope of Leadership
- Lead U.S. HR operations, including payroll, compliance, employee relations, and consistent execution of HR programs and policies for site-based and remote employees.
- Partner with senior leaders cross functionally on workforce planning, organizational design, talent risks, leadership effectiveness, and change management.
- Coordinate global talent review, succession planning, leadership development, and enterprise organizational initiatives in partnership with the CHRO and regional HR leaders.
- Manage and develop one direct report to ensure effective HR service delivery, execution discipline, and team capability.

- Senior leaders receive practical HR guidance that improves decision-making, leadership alignment, and organizational execution.
- U.S. HR operations are compliant, timely, consistent, and trusted by employees and leaders.
- Talent, succession, workforce planning, and leadership development efforts produce clear actions, ownership, and measurable follow-through.
Ideal Experience
- 15+ years of progressive HR experience, including senior HR business partner leadership and experience advising executive-level stakeholders.
- Ability to operate in a global environment (i.e. flexibility with time zone)
- Willingness to travel to other international to other sites for global initiatives
- Demonstrated strength in workforce planning, organizational design, talent management, succession planning, leadership development, and employee relations.
- Experience in manufacturing, medical device, life sciences, regulated, multi-site, or global environments preferred.
Skills Required
