Under the direction of the People Experience Manager, the People Experience Coordinator will enable a culture of excellence through assisting with the administrative requirements of the People Experience department with a focus on leave management.  You will be looked upon to provide great customer service to all team members, while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality in the dealings you have with team members.

$21.00/hour - $30.00/hour

The Must Haves:

  • Must have a High School diploma, college degree or related certificate a plus
  • Must have a minimum of 3 years' experience in a HR role with working knowledge of HR functions and procedures (e.g. Leave Administration, Recruiting)
  • Must be proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), data entry and email
  • Must be bilingual in Spanish/English; read, write and speak proficiently
  • Must have a valid driver’s license
  • Must have physical ability to carry out essential job functions, including but not limited to, sitting for long periods of time, occasionally walking and standing, climbing ladders/stairs, ok with heights in elevated areas and tolerating conditions such as dust, dirt, noise, odors, heat, cold, etc. when stepping into the warehouse

Things You Will be Doing

  • Serves as the main PE contact for internal employees to ensure solutions are provided in a timely manner.
  • Supports internal departments by providing timely and accurate responses for all PE related administrative tasks.
  • Serves as point-of-contact for all payroll related inquiries and acts as internal liaison for the payroll department. 
  • Facilitate and coordinate new hire orientation and onboarding activities, ensuring a positive Day 1 experience for employees.
  • Conduct employee concern intake meetings, gather relevant information, document concerns, and escalate matters to the appropriate PE leadership team member when necessary.
  • Prepare, track, and distribute benefit repayment and company owed balance letters, including benefit arrears and other employee financial obligations.
  • Assists employees with benefit enrollment and general benefits-related questions.
  • Coordinates employment verifications and other employment-related inquiries from employees, agencies, and third parties.
  • Responds to unemployment claims, EDD requests, wage inquiries, and other government agency correspondence.
  • Support performance management processes, including tracking corrective actions, coaching documentation, and performance reviews.
  • Assist with employee engagement initiatives, surveys, recognition programs, and company events.
  • Responsible for administering and tracking leave of absence programs for assigned facilities.
  • Assists with recruiting efforts on an as needed basis
  • Maintains employee personnel files and ensures documentation is accurate, complete, and compliant.
  • Coordinates temporary workforce management, including staffing requests, agency communication, temporary associate separations, tracking conversion eligibility, and facilitating the temporary-to-regular employee conversion process.
  • Contribute to HR projects as needed.
  • Contributes to People Experience initiatives, projects and continuous improvement efforts.
  • Maintains confidentiality of sensitive employee and company information.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Pay Range

Skills Required

  • High School diploma
  • College degree or related certificate
