Phoenix Home Care & Hospice | Springfield Office
Location: Springfield, MO
Schedule: Monday through Friday | 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM | No weekends

Pay: $18-$22 per hour

Phoenix Home Care & Hospice is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented HR Coordinator to join our Springfield team. This role plays an important part in supporting the hiring and onboarding process while helping ensure new employees feel welcomed and prepared from day one.

As an HR Coordinator, you will assist with onboarding, background checks, orientation, and general HR administrative support. You will work closely with both office staff and field employees while helping maintain organized records and a smooth hiring process.

This is a great opportunity for someone looking to build experience in Human Resources while working in a fast paced and supportive environment.

What You Will Do

Process and verify new hire paperwork and maintain accurate employee records
Complete background checks and required screenings for new hires
Lead and coordinate weekly orientation for new team members
Provide daily administrative HR support including data entry, filing, and documentation
Serve as a point of contact for employees with general HR questions
Support the HR team with special projects and administrative tasks
Help create a professional and welcoming experience for all new employees

What We Are Looking For

Previous HR or administrative experience preferred
Minimum of one year of HR, recruiting, or office support experience helpful
Strong organizational and attention to detail skills
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Comfort working with Microsoft Office and computer systems
Professional, positive, and team-oriented attitude
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information

SHRM CP or PHR certification is a plus but not required. Home care or healthcare experience is helpful but not required.
