Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Support payroll processing and ensure accuracy and timeliness.
  • Review and audit employee timecards prior to payroll submission.
  • Process payroll adjustments including bonuses, deductions, and retroactive pay.
  • Administer wage garnishments and required payroll deductions.
  • Maintain accurate HRIS data and reporting within Paycom.
  • Generate payroll and HR analytics reports (headcount, PTO, overtime).
  • Maintain personnel file integrity and compliance documentation.
  • Assist with onboarding, I-9 compliance, and employee records.
  • Serve as a point of contact for payroll and HR inquiries.
  • Support benefits administration and HR initiatives.
  • Assist with audits, reporting, and department projects.

The incumbent is expected to understand that all employees have a shared responsibility for the quality of products and related services provided to our customers. Duties are to be carried out in accordance with the PTC Quality Management System and its policies, procedures, and work instructions.

Minimum Education and/or Experience Requirements:  High School Diploma or equivalent; Minimum 1-3 years of HR or payroll-related experience preferred.

Language Skills

  • Strong verbal communication skills, with the ability to present information effectively and respond to questions from managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

Mathematical Skills

  • Ability to perform accurate inventory calculations, including identifying and reconciling variances between physical and system inventory.
  • Proficient in applying basic math skills such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, percentages, and unit conversions.
  • Capable of analyzing numerical data to support inventory adjustments and maintain inventory accuracy.

Reasoning Ability

  • Demonstrated ability to solve practical problems and manage a variety of concrete variables in situations with limited standardization.
  • Able to interpret and act upon instructions delivered in written, oral, diagrammatic, or schedule form.

Technical Skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Minimum of intermediate in Excel.
  • Ability to learn and effectively use company-specific software, including inventory management systems and email platforms.
  • Must have experience in ERP systems.

Other Requirements

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Ability to lead and train team members.

Office-based work environment with occasional exposure to plant conditions.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts.  The employee is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; high, precarious places; fumes or airborne particles; toxic or caustic chemicals; and outside weather conditions.  The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.

This position requires a combination of office and field work. The Inventory Control Coordinator will spend part of their time seated at a desk performing computer-based tasks, with the remainder spent walking, standing, and physically inspecting inventory in both warehouse and outdoor yard environments.

Duties include:

  • Standing and walking for extended periods, including outdoors in varying weather conditions
  • Reaching, handling, and operating inventory-related tools and equipment
  • Regular use of hands for data entry, counting, and handling materials
  • Effective verbal communication in both office and field settings

Occasional physical activities may include:

  • Climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling to access inventory stored at different levels or in confined areas
  • Lifting and moving items weighing up to 25 pounds

Visual requirements include:

  • Close and distance vision
  • Color and peripheral vision
  • Depth perception and the ability to adjust focus as needed for detailed work

The ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE), such as hard hats, safety glasses, gloves, and steel-toed footwear, is essential when working outside the office or in designated safety zones.
