Job Summary:
Under general direction, the HR coordinator will perform a variety of administrative and clerical task that supports the HR Department. In this role, the selected candidate will coordinate the hiring process, help with employee inquiries, and serve as a daily point of contact for all employees. 
 

Key Responsibilities:
1.    Performs customer service functions by answering employee requests and questions
2.    Administer and track performance and attendance discipline 
3.    Completes I-9 forms, verify I-9 documentation and maintains I-9 files 
4.    Assist with employee letters (new hire/termination)
5.    Coordinate and assist with recruitment and interview process
6.    Schedule meetings, interviews and employee events
7.    Orientate new employees to the organization (offers, background, on-boarding, new hire orienation, etc.)
8.    Maintain documentation in the quality management system (CPRO), audit and update documents as needed
9.    Update HRIS database records and process paperwork for new hires, terminations and other status changes
10.    Create new employee personnel files and file papers and documents into appropriate employee files.
11.    Be visible and present on the operations floor and post communications across the facility HR communication boards 
12.    Upload communications into the companies communication system, and communicate through the company internal communication channel
13.    Assist with tracking and administrating recognition programs
14.    Recommend possible actions to improve key processes within HR 
15.    Adhere to EEO and Affirmative Action guidelines
16.    Ensure full Labor Law and Wage & Hour compliance is adhered to within all operations
17.    Maintains employee confidence and protects operations by keeping human resource information confidential.
18.    Assist with day to day operations of the HR functions and duties

Qualifications

Qualifications:
1.    Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field
2.    3-5 years in Human Resources preferred
3.    Positive and personable demeanor
4.    Strong organizational, planning and time management skills
5.    Experience in HRIS System (Oracle) strongly preferred
6.    Strong verbal and written communication skills
7.    Communicate effectively with employees and managers
8.    Attention to detail
9.    Proficient in Microsoft office programs 
10.    Experience dealing with a large employee population
