Salary Range: $42,000 - $47,000 (based on education and experience)
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as a point of contact for HR-related questions, providing guidance and support to employees.
- Maintain and update employee records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and labor laws.
- Create and distribute weekly newsletters and related correspondences.
- Process payroll-related documentation and assist in resolving payroll discrepancies.
- Complete employer verifications, fee remission requests and other administrative duties.
- Assist in the recruitment process, including job postings, scheduling interviews, and coordinating hiring efforts.
- Coordinate running and distribution of HR reports.
- Support onboarding and offboarding processes, including orientation, paperwork, and exit interviews.
- Manage the workers compensation claims process.
- Coordinate employee celebration and engagement events.
- Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Assist with special HR projects and other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proficiency in HR software (Workday) and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- High level of professionalism and ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- HR certification (e.g., PHR, SHRM-CP) is a plus.
